Last night, I finished building the LEGO Architecture model of the San Francisco model. When I was in S.F. last November, I dismissed the thought that it could ever become one of the Architecture sets. The LEGO Designers certainly showed how narrow my thinking was!
In the dark, behind The Painted Ladies, is a nice impression of the trolley cars and steep hills.
I used the Sigma 10-20mm and one of the Lumecubes – probably a touch too bright – for illumination. The new curvature pen tool in Photoshop was very helpful masking the model. The background is my own photo from the November trip.
I have no more excuses to put off building the huge Tower Bridge model next…Tags: Lego
